The Canadian Centre for Computational Genomics (C3G) has partnered with the Goodman Cancer Research Centre (GCRC) to setup and operate a bioinformatics hub at the GCRC. The said hub will:

  • Provide on-demand bioinformatics analysis services to participating GCRC researchers.
  • Identify training needs and organize training events at the GCRC
  • Offer advice and guidance on bioinformatics topics to GCRC researchers through consultations and office hours.

Training

To help us better understand the bioinformatics training needs at the GCRC, we ask that you please fill out this survey. Please note that we don’t expect you to have experience in any of the topics listed in the survey, but we would like to know if you have already worked with some of these tools before.
Thank you in advance!

Requesting Services

Participating researchers can request on-demand bioinformatics service by contacting us at gcrc.bioinfo@c3g.ca, providing a short description of the experiment, available data and expectations in terms of analysis.

Non-participating GCRC researchers wishing to gain access to the hub for analysis services need to contact Dr. Maxime Bouchard directly. It is also possible to request regular services at services.mtl@computationalgenomics.ca.

Getting Support

You can email us anytime at gcrc.bioinfo@c3g.ca for questions or advice.

Walk-in consultations with Alain Pacis are available during his open office hours listed below. To ensure productive discussions with Alain, preferably email an example data and summarize questions in advance by email at gcrc.bioinfo@c3g.ca.
